Macromedia Dreamweaver
is the development of Web applications created by Macromedia. After
Adobe Systems acquired Macromedia Dreamweaver in 2005, became Adobe
Dreamweaver. Dreamweaver
has two versions: the operating systems Windows and Macintosh. The
latest versions of Dreamweaver JavaScript, CSS and some scripting languages and other structures,
such as JSP, ColdFusion, ASP.NET, and so on.
Dreamweaver is a WYSIWYG editor, which allows programmers and nonprogrammers to edit web pages. Dreamweaver removes the need to sit down and write the HTML file in a notepad. Users can insert tags with the help menu in the software. Initially, Dreamweaver received criticism from some developers who say, "This is not production code to W3C standards", the latest versions of Dreamweaver helped to overcome this criticism. Dreamweaver also supports CSS and some ways to optimize the layout.
Dreamweaver allows you to build websites and then display without a browser. Adobe has "Find and Replace" options to make changes of simple code. Similar to other HTML editor, you can edit HTML files locally and then upload to a web server via WebDAV, FTP and SFTP.
